2) Valley route (sea - fluvial) by motorship:

of about 1h.50' lengths, it begins from the Foce resort then to be divided along a wider way and a greater historical - naturalistic interest, no taking away anything to the precedent. It's sure that the Comacchio Valleys are the most significant zone in a territory - the delta of the Po - in which various civilizations let archaeological, cultural, anthropological high value signs. One of the widest brackish complex of Italy, declared damp zone of international interest, according to the Ramsar convention of 1971, and at the same time place of a characteristic cheap activity - the cultivation of the eel and other precious fish specialities - whose history gets lost in the centuries. Besides, in the ecosystem of the Comacchio Valleys, the exceptional faunistic variety links up with the typicalness of a floristic and vegetational landscape conditioned by the aquatic environment, all to find out! Let's go back to our visit: in about 30 ' of navigation we arrive to the first stage: the COCALINO (little seagull)case. For the description of this architectural structure is necessary remembering the importance of the valley colture. Nearly the only resource, in the centuries, for the life of Comacchio populations, it's leaded today according to manners able to coordinate the productive engagement with the ambient safeguard. The Valleys are civic property. It's in this context which comes into play the case at issue: it was guard or ambush house for the vigilance of the valleys against the poach fishing, a time sentenced by the law but not by the local human contest. About two - four valley guards, to the orders of a guard leader, were arranging for the service on the 24 hours. Several guard houses were constituting a circle, with a main circle (Capocircolo). A guard had the responsability to oversee the circles. Despite of these technical details and of the valley organization, however interesting particulars, we must remember that the valley complex is still today a place dipped in the uncontaminated nature really thanks to such a people, to their devotion. The case will be illustrated by the guide in about 10'. Here that after 25 ' of valley route we dock at the PEGORARO (place for the pasture of the sheep) case where the guide will arrange for the illustration of the same one and for possible questions (see previous description). The visit is almost finished; the last building in program is the big case called SERILLA a time fishing station to chief of the homonymous valley quarter. The importance of the station was deriving from the extent of the fishing basin, from the quality of the fished for, from the various working activities in it. The place was the center of collection and clearing of the material for the valley demands, tools and handmade articles, indispensable in management of the work and life, built in the wide tabarra were serving also to supplement those producted in the least stations of the quarter illustrated by the guide as the precedent ones. To the term, the return in the zone of the fishing cases
will take place for valley opened in about 15 ', where you will not be able to be involved with a flora and a fauna in complete freedom.
