Its body is cylindrical,very long, and seems like a snake. Its muzzle is long and
flat.In its mouth there are little and conical teeth and it ends down the eyes. The anterior nostril
is near the top of the muzzle and it has a little tubule, while the hind one is on the half eye
superior. The lower jaw is prominent. The scales eel are elliptical, very little and under a
coarse-rapy skin because it is covered with mucus. The backbone-anal-caudal fins are an only fin compose by 500
beams.The pectoral fins are 14-18 beams, while the eel has not ventral
fins.The vertebrae are 110-119: 45-46 of them compose the pre-anal one.The color of the side is brown-greenish,from gray to black, while the stomach is white and
yellowish.The iris is golden-brown . Female is bigger than male.It is a fish of passage:it lives in fresh water but laies in the sea.
